 This month Wednesday Culture Club (WCC) will be hosting choir Collegium Musicum, on 26th of December at 18h on the 4th floor in the gala “red” auditorium.
We invite all our in and outpatients, as well as employees of the Institute to come and enjoy in the concert.
 Academic choir Collegium Musicum was founded in 1971 on the initiative of Professor Vojislav Ilić and is made up of students from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Since its inception, the conductor of the choir was Darinka Matić Marovic, professor emeritus of the University of Arts in Belgrade, while Dr Dragana Jovanovic, Assistant Professor at the Department of Conducting the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, has been engaged as an assistant conductor since 1999 and as a conductor of the choir. Since 1971, over 300 students from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade have been members of this ensemble. Collegium musicum is one of the most important choirs in Serbia. So far he has held over 3,000 concerts across the country and the world. The Academic Choir Collegium musicum has recorded permanent recordings for Radio Television of Serbia, National Radio of Norway, Italian National Radio Television (RAI), RTV Mexico and others. Some of the masterpieces of choral art have remained recorded on the compact disc of Colors and Sounds of the Balkans and Sirena, and this year will also be issued integrally executed Rukoveti Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac in the transcription of Vojislav Ilić.

The repertoire of the choir includes works by composers of different styles, from early music to modern music. The high professional level and creativity of this ensemble inspired many composers to dedicate their works to him. In the full 45 years of existence, the choir has made over 200 premiere performances. Hor participated in the realization of many important cultural events in the country and the region, as well as in the projects of performing a number of vocal and instrumental works collaborating with numerous orchestras.

In recent years, the ensemble with special attention has been developing visual identity in choral performance, and has also performed several concerts-performances such as Sirene, Document: VODA, Mokranjac1914-2014 and Water – Zmija – Smederevo City. Academic choir Collegium Musicum has received numerous awards and awards, both in Serbia and abroad.
