This month Wednesday Culture Club (WCC) will be hosting harpist Mina Marinković, on 25th of September at 18h on the 4th floor in the gala “red” auditorium.
We invite all our in and outpatients, as well as employees of the Institute to come and enjoy in the concert.
Mina Marinkovic was born in 1991 in Belgrade. She completed her basic and master studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of prof. Ljiljana Nestorovski with the highest marks. She has participated in many national and international competitions and has won many awards. Most notable were the first prize and the EMCY award for outstanding performance at the Petar Konjović International Competition in Novi Sad, 2011, the Camac Harps Special Award at the International Harpist Competition in Slovenia, Velenje in 2013, as well as the participation in the Blumington International Harp Competition, Indiana, USA in 2013. From 2010 to 2013 she was a scholarship recipient of the Republican Foundation for the Development of Scientific and Artistic Youth of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. In addition to numerous solo concerts, there were performances by Hendl’s Harp Concerto with the accompaniment of the FMU Symphony Orchestra in Belgrade and the Dušan Skovran String Orchestra. She has performed at various festivals such as Belef, Festum, the International Harp Festival. She is currently a harp professor at the Stankovic School of Music, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Music in the class of prof. Ljiljana Nestorovski and a regular contributor to the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and the RTS Symphony Orchestra.
Outpatients are required to leave their health card at the counter and to specify that they are going to the Wednesday Culture Club.
