This month Wednesday Culture Club (WCC) will be hosting the choir Ars Vocalis, on December 14th, at six o’clock in the afternoon, in the gala “Red” auditorium, on the 4th floor.
We invite all our in and outpatients, as well as employees of the Institute to come and enjoy in the concert.
Ars Vocalis choir was established in Belgrade in 2014., aiming to foster spiritual and secular music of domestic and foreign composers from the Middle Ages to today, as well as choral works of folk inspiration. The choir founder’s wish is to encourage young people to perform and promote choral music and to get close this type of playing to general public. Ars vocalis members are choral music devotees, students of music schools and faculties, as well as graduated music artists.
The good choral atmosphere, high level of choral sound, inspired interpretation and theme conceived programmеs, is what makes the choir Ars vocalis unique.
In the first two years Choir presented itself in the Gallery of Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences, Great Hall of Kolarac university, National library of Serbia, on 25th International choral solemnity in Niš and sand several solemn academies.
Ars vocalis held a full-length concerts in National library of Serbia, Church of Christ the King, Cathedral Church in Belgrade, House of King Peter I and on International Festival of Chamber Choirs in Kragujevac.
Ars vocalis received the acclaim after the first performance, while on 25th International choral solemnity in Niš on july 2014. the choir got the Award for the performance of the Miloje Milojević opus.
The conductor of the choir is Katarina Stanković, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac.
Outpatients are required to leave their health card at the counter and to specify that they are going to the Wednesday Culture Club.
