Clubs

There are four patients’ clubs operating at the Institute of Mental Health, some of them for a long time.

The clubs offer the beneficiaries a chance to establish a more extended and richer contact with the psychiatric institution. The main purpose of the clubs is to give information and guidance to patients and members of their families on psychiatric disorders, provision of psychosocial support, sociotherapeutic approach and rehabilitation. In addition to this, various forms of work, occupational and art therapy are promoted. Significant part of the clubs’ activities take place outside the Institute, through visits, road trips, socializing and collaboration with other social, cultural, artistic and sports organizations.

Activities of the clubs are organized by the staff of the Institute of Mental Health.
