This month Wednesday Culture Club (WCC) will be hosting trio “Alleluia”. The concert will take place on December 13th, at six o’clock in the afternoon, in the gala “Red” auditorium, on the 4th floor.
We invite all our in and outpatients, as well as employees of the Institute to come and enjoy in the performance of the trio “Alleluia”.
Trio Alleluia from Belgrade was founded in 2014 with the aim to investigate the Orthodox spiritual music. Alleluia nurtured and promoted primarily domestic but also foreign authors and thus repertoire includes compositions from the XIII to XXI century from Serbian as well as Russian, Bulgarian, Greek and many other authors.
Name Alleluia, is of Jewish origin and means “Praise the Lord” which is the basic idea of this choir and ensemble. As an inevitable chorus of the vast majority of Orthodox songs, their significance largely describes the very essence of Orthodox spiritual music in general.
Trio “Alleluia” is part of a mixed Choir and Ensemble “Alleluia” from Belgrade. So far, already crowned with important awards such as first prize at the “Horfest” in Valjevo (2017.), “Gold Medal” at the international choral festival in “May Music Festival in Bijeljina (2016.) and others. The founder and conductor is Mr Radivojevic Milica: completed specialist studies in conducting (2015.) in the class of Proffesor Bojana Suđić. She also completed her master degree in symphonic conducting (2013.) from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz with Maestro Prof Martin Sieghart. In the field of symphonic and choral conducting perfected with top experts: Jorma Panula (Finland), Prince Johannes (Austria), Volfganf Bozic (Germany), Gennady Dmitrjak (Russia) and many others. She has also worked with renowned choirs in the country and abroad, and won the award for the best conductor at the “Horfestu” (Valjevo 2017).
Outpatients are required to leave their health card at the counter and to specify that they are going to the Wednesday Culture Club.
