WEDNESDAYS’ CULTURAL CIRCLE (WCC), HOSTING DANICA AND MILAN CILE MARINKOVIC

This month Wednesday Culture Club (WCC) will be hosting Danica and Milan CILE Marinković, on 16th of March at 18h on the 4th floor in the gala “red” auditorium.
 
We invite all our in and outpatients, as well as employees of the Institute to come and enjoy in conversation with our famous painter and graphic designer & collage artist.
 
Danica Marinkovic, Dana MAAR, graphic designer and collage artist – was born in Belgrade in 1986. She lives in Paris since 1992, where she graduated in graphic design at the Academy of Applied Arts, while she is now finishing Master studies in London, the University of the Arts of London – Chelsea College of Art & Design. Particularly interesting are the solo exhibition in the institution of culture Steamboat 2015, New Moment Gallery in Belgrade in 2013, then in the gallery Atrium Belgrade Public Library in 2011 and many others. In Paris she realized two solo exhibitions in Galerie Origines and Galleries Artessepia within the manifestation Carré Rive Gauche in the neighborhood St Germain des Près, Paris. Also, she participated at the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Paris in 2008 and 2010 and 2014. Since then she is always between Belgrade-Paris-London route, professionally and privately.
 
Milan Marinkovic CILE, painter, born in Belgrade in 1947, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1972. From the same year he is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia, as well as a member of the Maison des Artistes in Paris since 1994. His exhibition activity began in 1966 and since then has had more than one hundred solo exhibitions and participated in over two hundred and fifty (250) group exhibitions. In the period from 1975 to 1995. Cile Marinkovic has won a number of awards at home and abroad, among them the October Award of Belgrade in 1996. Since 1992 he lives and works in Paris. For more than four decades his artistic work is leaving an indelible mark in the artistic and cultural life of Serbia and the region. His work, which has long crossed the borders of our country, is finding its place in important collections of the world and also becomes the subject of museum verification.
 
Outpatients are required to leave their health card at the counter and to specify that they are going to the Wednesday Culture Club.
