As a part of our Wednesday Culture Club (WCC) dancers from the Bitef Theatre will be have a performance on the 12th of February at 18h on the 4th floor in the gala “red” auditorium. We invite all our in and outpatients, as well as employees of the Institute to come and enjoy the performance of parts of Yesterday, remember to forget; City; Wishing machines and Divine comedy.
Bitef theatre is an avantgard theatre located in a restructured former Evangelical church in the very heart of Dorcol. It was established in 1989. as a means of spreading the influence that the Bitef festival had and studying the thearical tendencies in this part of the world as well as giving space to emerging artists that have tried exploring outside the standard and traditional bounderies of theatrical performance.
Performers: Ana Ignjatović-Zagorac, Milica Pisić, Miloš Isailović, Miona Petrović, Nevena Jovanović and Uroš Petronijević.
The theatrical show „City“ was made as a product of activities by which the artists were exploring the way we experience the city space. Jasmin Vardimon, British choreographer, together with the dancers of the Bitef Dance Company is preparing specifically for Bitef theatre the show YESTERDAY – Remember to forget, and is showcasing to the Belgrade audience the most exciting duos, solos and ensamble performances from her vast choreographical opus. Wishing machine just produces wishes, without wishing them, to be is to wish – this is a short description of the show Wishing machine.
